There are 3 Explorer Scout Units in Castle Point. 2 are based on the Canvey Island with the Scott Unit attached to 1st Canvey Island Sea Scouts and Columbus Unit attached to 4ht Canvey Island Sea Scouts. The third unit is based on the mainland.
Between them, they give the 14 to 18 year old young people of Castle Point access to a wide variety of traditional scouting activities and additionally provide both Air and Water based opportunities.
Columbus Explorer Scout Unit normally meet on Wednesday Evenings at The Scouting Centre between 7:30 and 9:30.
