4th Canvey Island Sea Scout Group

Our Scout Leader, Bradley Cox (50), was invited to attend a Rotary Club meeting at the Oysterfleet Hotel to give an update on the Jetty Proposal.

However he was surprised when he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow Award by the President of the Canvey Island Rotary Club, John Tremain.

Paul Harris founded Rotary in 1905 and the award is given in recognition for service to the community or to the Club. For information on the history of Rotary click here.

Brad received the award in recognition of his over 32 years of service to the 4th Canvey Island Sea Scout Group and his continuing commitment and drive to their projects.

The Canvey Island Rotary Club have been great supporters of 4th Canvey for many years and we would like to thank them for their continuing support.
